🔍 Learning your SAP

After establishing a connection, the next step is to run a scan so the Docflo AI Agent can discover and index all available services on your SAP system.

Starting the Scan

Open the connection list, click the three-dot menu next to your SAP connection, and select "Learn".

💡 Enable by Default: Enabling the "Enable by default" option will automatically grant the agent access to all discovered services. Disable this if you prefer to manually cherry-pick which services the agent is allowed to use.

After the Scan Completes

Once the system is connected and services begin appearing, you will have full control over what the agent can access:

Service & Entity Management

  • Enable / Disable specific services — toggle individual OData services or SOAP endpoints on or off.
  • Enable / Disable specific entities — drill into a service and control which entity sets (e.g., tables, function imports) are exposed to the agent.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Explore user conversations — review how users are interacting with the agent and which services are being invoked.
  • Explore execution logs — inspect detailed logs for every action the agent has performed, useful for debugging and auditing.

⚠️ Tip: If a service you expect to see is missing after the scan, check that it is accessible via one of the catalog endpoints listed in the Establishing SAP Connections guide, or add it manually in Step 3 of the connection setup.
